Civil and Cold

 

Over on Chicago Avenue close to the Frank Lloyd Wright homes on Forest Avenue there's an interesting slab foundation house. They had been flying a ripped up flag and I suspect they left it this way as social commentary. I took a picture of it because I had been passing by it for a long time and had wanted a shot of it. Also interesting are two houses a block east on the north side of the street across from the studio. A couple years ago the house on the corner was painted red and the one next to it was blue. Again, I suspect this is a political statement. But recently the house on the corner was repainted blue.
